TX SCARA
Telexistence
A horizontal articulated (SCARA) robot developed in-house by Telexistence. It restocks (displays) beverages into refrigerated cases in the narrow backyard spaces of convenience stores. Normally it is controlled automatically by the company's proprietary AI system "GORDON"; when a display attempt fails, it switches to remote operation over the internet (Telexistence mode) and a person recovers the task. It is designed so it can be installed without changing the backyard environment of existing stores.
- Beverage restocking in convenience store backyards (displaying into refrigerated cases)
- 24-hour monitoring of beverage inventory
- Recovering tasks the AI failed at via remote operation
